Our family owned company has been in business for over 15 years and is looking for a qualified person to remediate mold throughout Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio.
Specifically, we are hiring someone to do dry ice blasting, a method of mold removal that uses no toxic chemicals. The technique is similar to power washing or power spray painting, but with a more advanced machine built for dry ice.
Other parts of the role include demo, interior containment, insulation removal and installation, building cleaning, and great customer service.
About the work
We are a chemical-free mold remediation company providing testing, consultations, inspections, and full remediation. We are based just south of Ann Arbor and service all of Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Crews leave each morning from our office in Milan, MI to work in the Metro Detroit and Toledo areas using company owned vehicles.
This is a full time position with the possibility of overtime, paid at time and a half.
Growth path
This role starts as a contract position for 90 days. After the trial period, you move to an employee with full MoldPro benefits. We are looking to advance this person into a management role as experience, knowledge, and growth develop, which brings additional income and benefits.
What we are looking for
- Residential building knowledge and experience
- Very good customer and people skills
- Mold remediation experience is a plus, one year preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license, required
- English, required
- Able to commute to Milan, MI 48160, required
One important requirement
This position requires entering customers’ homes, including the homes of chemically sensitive clients. Employees must arrive free of cigarette, cigar, vape, marijuana, and other smoke related odors while working and visiting customer locations. Please confirm you are able to meet this requirement when you apply.
