What is the difference between a mold inspection and mold testing?
An inspection is a hands-on evaluation that finds visible mold, hidden moisture, and the source of the problem. Testing sends samples to an independent laboratory to identify which mold species are present and at what levels. Many projects use both.
Do I need an inspection before remediation?
Yes. Every home is different, so we perform our own inspection to determine the extent of the mold and build a plan specific to your home. We do not give remediation estimates without one.
Do I have to decide on testing before my appointment?
No. Testing is always optional. John inspects the building first, then explains which tests, if any, would give you useful information about your situation.
Are your methods safe for children and pets?
Yes. We remove mold with mechanical methods, HEPA filtration, and non-toxic products. We do not rely on harsh chemicals, so nothing toxic is left behind when we finish.
